Genuinely local company.

Not just based in your area, in our case local means the following.

We employ local people, over 80% of our full time staff live within 2 miles of our office and the rest of us live in north west London.

We invest in our community, we sponsor local groups and organisations schools, North West Two residents association, Mapesbury Open Gardens, Cricklewood Festival, Olive Road Street Party, Cricklewood Library the community development project to save Cricklewood Library, Cricklewood Christmas Lights.

We have hired and train local apprentices. One of whom continues in our employment today as a fully qualified gas engineer.

We limit any marketing to north-west London, that’s NW postcodes plus W9 -11 only.

Over 95% of our household jobs are in northwest London we always have multiple engineers present in the area.

Our People.

Our staff are fully employed by the company. We use some specialist local subcontractors. These contractors are vetted and verified and consist of a small group of associates who when hired work under our warranty and guarantees just like other members of staff. 99% of our jobs are carried out by full-time staff or approved and/or our small group of local associates, (in very rare circumstances we may hire another vetted specialist e.g. scaffolders, roofers).

Trust and Incentives

Other companies employ their plumbers and engineers as subcontractors and pay them a percentage of the job the consequence is that staff/contractors are incentivised to make each job last longer. Our staff bonuses are related to customer satisfaction in the form of customer feedback, and in a long-term profit share scheme so they have an incentive to maintain satisfaction, customer retention and growth through referral. If we genuinely think something should be replaced or fixed we will let you know because unlike other companies we do not provide bonuses for up-selling, only for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Referral

We know that the most cost-effective way to build a company is by focusing on excellent customer service. When we provide an excellent customer service our customers do effective and genuine social media and word of mouth referrals. Advertising is no substitute see online reviews,  Streetlife reviews.
